Things to check: You need port forwarding set up for the following ports on your Router: 80, 443 & 5001 all pointing to the IP Addrerss of your NAS.The source Synology (DS920+) about 4.5TB of data running in a RAID. I am using the IP address (not the server name) to try to connect (server name fails too) The remote Synology is connected to a Comcast Xfiniti router. I have Quick Connect running on this Synology but I have not messed with the port or router settings manually. .
